What do I need to bring/wear?Suitable sports clothing that is weather appropriate is ideal. All jewellery must be removed prior to each session. You should also bring a bottle of water to every session. You should receive a confirmation email after signing up with more session specific details eg. shin pads for football sessions. If you haven't received the welcome email within an hour of signing up and it's not in your spam please email info@castlecoaching.co.uk and we will get one sent over to you.

Can girls come too?YES YES YES!! It saddens us how often we get asked this question, especially since we are trying to push to get more girls involved. All of our sessions are suitable for both girls and boys.

Is my 4 year old allowed to join?Yes, we are more than happy to accept 4 year olds turning 5 but we are not able to accept 3 year olds turning 4. Can my 12 year old attend?Yes, we are more than happy to have 12 year olds join us! We do run our teens football sessions in Framlingham, more information can be found here.

Can I attend if I'm already in a team?Yes. We have many students who are already in a team that come to us for that extra training or because they want to have some fun whilst practicing their favourite sport!

Can I attend if I've never done the sport before?Yes! Our sessions are suitable for all abilities as we believe this also allows the students to learn more from each other. Whether you train every week with a team or want to try something new, our sessions are suitable for you!

Will I be doing Tag Rugby or Contact?In line with RFU guidelines, our minis (ages 5-7) will be doing purely tag rugby and our juniors (ages 8-11) will be taught contact skills throughout their drills in the sessions but the matches will be tag rugby.

Where do you run your coaching sessions?We currently run our weekly coaching sessions in Framlingham and Stevenage, more information can be found here. Want us to set up some sessions near you? Send us an email at info@castlecoaching.co.uk and we will see what we can do!

Is Castle Coaching a team?No. Castle Coaching is not a competitive team. We run high-quality sessions with qualified coaches to allow children to get extra training without the competitive worries or stress.

Are your coaches qualified?Yes. All of our Head Coaches are qualified or undergoing a qualification in their specialist sport. Our Head Football Coaches have a FA qualification and our Head Rugby Coaches have a RFU Coaching qualification.

Do your coaches have a DBS?Yes. All of our staff, including those that don't coach (eg admin), all have an enhanced DBS Certificate.

Are your Coaches First Aid Trained?Yes, all of our Head Coaches are First aid trained?

Do you offer Rugby birthday parties?No. We do not offer Rugby birthday parties yet but we are working on it so we can hopefully launch them soon!

Do you offer Birthday Parties in Hertfordshire?Yes we do!

I submitted a birthday party booking form and I haven't heard anything back?We aim to get back to birthday party enquiries within 7 working days as we need to check coaches availability. If it has been longer than this please first check your spam to see if you have received an email from info@castlecoaching.co.uk and if not please feel free to send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
